Kyle Haack - Pastor of Vision and Leadership

Kyle’s job primarily consists of setting the vision for the church, developing new programs and then training the leaders to take over these programs. Kyle has spent a lot of time recently clarifying the vision of Living Stone Church and trying to articulate that distinctly to people. Kyle’s background in Young Life also inspires him to build relationships with people outside of the church and helps him encourage others to develop genuine friendships.

Kyle teaches guitar lessons and loves to play musical instruments, including guitar, mandolin, djembe(an African drum) and harmonica. He also loves to fly fish, read, camp, hike and under the inspiration of his wife, run.

Wendy Haack - Pastor of Administration and Discipleship

Wendy is responsible for helping others find a connection within the church to foster personal and spiritual growth. Currently, she coordinates mission events, keeps record of prayer requests, and oversees the curriculum for children’s ministry. She is also responsible for structural pieces of the church: policies, reporting, organizing and executing meetings.

Wendy enjoys running, cooking, hiking, reading a good book, talking with old friends, sipping coffee and Sudoku. She also loves her pet turtles, Kincaid and Greta.

Travis and Katie Yager - Connection Coordinators

  Our mission statement at Living Stone    

  Church is:  Connecting people...to God, to

  each other and to  the world.  Katie and

  Travis exemplify this mission by constantly

  making connections with new people.  As

  Connection Coordinators they work to

  make sure that people new to Living

  Stone get connected, especially to a Life

  Transformation Group.  Katie and Travis

  also coordinate our Movie Nights and lead

  the discussions.

Travis and Katie enjoy cycling, movies, traveling, golf, cooking, reading, and playing games with friends and family (especially Settlers of Catan).  They also hope to take their cycling one step further, and bike in RAGBRAI this year, the Lord willing!

Ron and Diane Schaap - Hospitality Coordinators

We at Living Stone Church seek to be a hospitable group, and towards that end we have two Hospitality Coordinators. As Hospitality Coordinators, Ron and Diane are always looking for ways that we can be more welcoming and make people comfortable. A big part of their role is to coordinate the hospitality treat at worship and to organize our meals together.

Ron and Diane retired from their waste hauling business a few years ago and now enjoy being semi-retired.  They often take care of their grandchildren and are involved in various activities around Rochester.
